David Daye ’23

David Daye is an accomplished public speaker and educator, joining the faculty as the Assistant Forensics Coach and instructor for COMM 103. A native of Rockford, Illinois, David is a proud Bradley Alum, graduating with a BA in Political Science and Organizational Communication and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership.

David is a nationally and internationally recognized speaker, having earned 7 national championships and 4 international championships throughout his career. 

In addition to his academic and coaching roles, David is an ordained minister with over a decade of experience preaching to congregations across Illinois. He is excited to bring his knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm to the university, mentoring students and helping them achieve their potential.
